JAM-Just a Minute an Extempore Competition

Spontaneity and spark unfolded as students from Classes VI to X took the stage for the eagerly anticipated JAM -Just a Minute -an extempore competition held on 9 April 2025. The competition witnessed young speakers thinking on their feet, delivering sharp and articulate takes on a wide range of topics- all within a single minute. Participants were judged on fluency, confidence, relevance and creativity. The topics, given on the spot, ranged from abstract ideas to current affairs, pushing students to engage both their intellect and imagination. JAM proved once again that sometimes, one minute is all it takes to leave a lasting impression.

National Educational Trip

On 17th March 2025, the students of Sagar Public School, Dwarka Dham, went on an #educational trip to #Chandigarh and #Shimla. The trip was a perfect blend of learning and fun. In Chandigarh, students visited Sukhna Lake and the Rock Garden, learning about the city’s planning and architecture. The creativity at the Rock Garden amazed everyone. The journey continued to Shimla, where students enjoyed the scenic beauty and explored The Ridge, Mall Road, and Jakhoo Temple. The trip provided exposure to art, history, and nature. It was a memorable experience filled with joy, learning, and unforgettable moments.

ASPIRE Session 2025-26

Marking the beginning of a new session for #Sagarites, the #ASPIRE Session on Research #Skills #Development was an enriching experience for the Sagarites. The session featured Dr Ravi Chatterjee, Associate Professor and Head of Research at Symbiosis International University, Dubai, who shared invaluable insights into the art of inquiry, critical thinking, and effective research methodologies. Dr Chatterjee’s engaging discourse not only highlighted the significance of structured research but also encouraged students to develop a scientific temperament and a curious mindset. His expertise and real-world examples made complex concepts accessible, inspiring young minds to delve deeper into the world of research.

Parent Orientation Programme

Sagar Public School Dwarka Dham hosted a #Parent #Orientation #Programme to #familiarize parents with school policies, curriculum, and holistic student development. International Education Trip

The school organised an exhilarating educational trip to Singapore for Class IX students from 3rd to 8th March 2025. The journey blended adventure, learning, and cultural exploration. Students visited Merlion Park, Victoria Park, and Singapore’s oldest temple, gaining insights into history and heritage. The Night #Safari introduced them to nocturnal #wildlife, while #SentosaIsland, Madame Tussauds Museum, and the spectacular beach light show provided a mix of fun and discovery. A key highlight was Universal Studios Singapore, where students enjoyed thrilling rides, #robotic shows, and #Hollywood experiences. A visit to Gardens by the Bay-featuring the Flower Dome and Cloud #Forest-offered valuable lessons on sustainability and environmental conservation. The trip also included a shopping experience at Little India Market and major malls, immersing students in #Singapore’s vibrant culture. Beyond sightseeing, the journey nurtured curiosity, #adaptability, and #confidence, making it a perfect blend of education and adventure. Students returned with unforgettable memories and valuable life lessons, describing the trip as a once-in-a-lifetime experience that broadened their perspectives beyond textbooks.

Vibrant Bagless Day

The school marked the end of the 2024-25 academic session with a vibrant Bagless Day, #fostering joy and experiential learning beyond textbooks. The primary wing bid farewell to the session with a day of enriching activities. From energetic sports and #Zumba to creative art and engaging subject-based activities, the day encouraged holistic development. New Session Parent Orientation

Education is a shared commitment between dedicated teachers, motivated students, and enthusiastic parents\r\n\r\nThe School welcomed parents of students from Nursery to Class IX for an insightful Orientation Programme. The HMs and Supervisors of respective sections familiarised parents with the school system, academic framework, and the values that shape a true Sagarite. A special session on ‘Good Parenting’ was conducted by Dr Jaishree Kanwar, Director, SPS Schools, offering valuable guidance on fostering a nurturing and supportive environment for children. Graduation Ceremony

The #academic year 2024-25 marked a significant milestone for the students of KG II at Sagar Public School, Dwarka Dham Bhopal. As they progressed to Class I, the school celebrated their #Graduation Day with great fervor. The ceremony commenced with the invocation of Maa Saraswati and the lighting of the lamp. Young Sagarites showcased five sense organs

The young #Sagarites of Class Nursery A showcased a delightful class assembly on February 27, 2025, focusing on the theme Sense Organs. The assembly began with a warm welcome, followed by a simple yet insightful introduction to the five sense organs—#eyes, #ears, #nose, #tongue, and #skin. Through simple explanations and interactive presentations, the children beautifully demonstrated how these senses help us experience and understand the world around us. The assembly concluded with the lively dance performance emphasizing the importance of our sense in daily life.

Importance of sports

The students of K.G I-C conducted a lively class assembly on the topic "Sports" on February 21, 2025 at Sagar Public School, Dwarka Dham. They showcased different sports like football, cricket, table tennis, basketball and many more with utmost #enthusiasm and #zeal. A vibrant dance performance added to the #excitement, highlighting the joy of sports and fitness. Students from Classes I to IX were #honoured with badges in four prestigious categories: Best Turnout – For maintaining a smart and neat appearance. The #Enthusiast – For active participation in school activities. Active Participation – For engagement in classroom activities and teamwork. Most Regular Sagarite – For #punctuality and timely submissions. The joy and pride on our students’ faces reflected their hard work and dedication.
